Blend is an exterior design studio shaped by Nicole Grice and guided by the belief that everything holds beauty when approached with care and restraint. The work begins with observation—of land, light, material, and the architecture it surrounds. Landscape is not treated as decoration, but as a natural extension of the built environment.

Each project is rooted in the idea that outdoor spaces should feel calm, effortless, and deeply connected to their setting. Planting, hardscape, and form are considered together, allowing the landscape to soften architecture, frame it, and give it room to breathe. The goal is balance—spaces that feel intentional without feeling imposed.

The studio’s approach is unfussy by nature. Design decisions are guided by proportion, texture, and atmosphere rather than trend. Materials are chosen for how they age, how they weather, and how they sit quietly within the landscape over time.
